Rahul Gandhi To Address 4 Rallies In Phase 2 Of Election

AHMEDABAD: Congress President-designate Rahul Gandhi is now campaigning in Gujarat for the second phase of Gujarat Assembly election. The state will go to polls on 14th December for the second phase.

Today, Mr Gandhi will address rallies Tharad, Viramgam, Savli and Gandhinagar as part of Congress’ Navsarjan Yatra. The Gujarat election campaign has seen the BJP and Congress levelling charges against the other. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a scathing attack, made stunning charges about Pakistan’s role in the Gujarat polls, the Congress has attacked the BJP on issues of unemployment, electricity and the “Gujarat model of development”.

As part of his campaign trails, Rahul Gandhi, in a desperate attempt to strike a chord with the common man of Gujarat, had also stopped by at tea stalls in Gujarat and ate at roadside eateries in between rallies and meetings.

The counting for 182 Gujarat seats will take place on 18th December along with Himachal Pradesh which voted in November.
